In an endeavor to build good relations and smooth communication, the Alfred Nzo District Municipality (ADM), hosted a Customer Care Day in Cedarville, directly engaging with ratepayers, enhanced communication, improved service delivery and address concerns or queries that ratepayers may have regarding their municipal accounts and services.

The programme was led by the Portfolio Chairperson for Budget and Treasury and Chief Finance Officer (CFO). In this engagement ratepayers afforded their time to raise questions whilst the district municipality offered solutions to account-related issues, including billing payment, and property rates.

This initiative aligned with the municipality’s strategic goals of fostering transparency, improving efficiency, and promoting strong relationships between the municipality and community members.

In his address Portfolio Chairperson for Budget and Treasury, Sobane Mnukwa stressed that the government seeks to bring services closer to where people live, making it easier for them to access services at their convenience.

Mnukwa also emphasized the importance of practicing the Batho Pele principle, addressing community issues, and being transparent about the services the municipality renders.
