The Royal Riders MCC successfully hosted one of the largest bikers’ rallies in kuGompo in the Eastern Cape, bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts from across Southern Africa and in all nine provinces of South Africa. This initiative was also an effort to boost tourism in Buffalo City. The landmark event attracted bikers from neighbouring countries like Namibia, Eswatini (Swaziland) and Lesotho.

According to Thembekile Mdiya of Royal Riders MCC the rally not only united bikers from different regions but also showcased the Eastern Cape as a vibrant destination for large-scale motorcycle gatherings.

“This rally demonstrated the power of the biker community to bring people together while supporting local tourism and business.  We are proud to have hosted riders from across South Africa and neighbouring countries, and we look forward to growing the event even bigger in the years ahead,” said Mdiya. He expressed his gratitude to all visiting motorcycle clubs, supporters, local businesses, and stakeholders who contributed to making the rally a success.

Through charity events, rallies, and community initiatives the club aims to unite riders while contributing positively to local communities.

Meanwhile, the rally drew hundreds of riders and visitors to the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality significantly contributing to local vendors experiencing increased business as bikers and supporters gathered to celebrate motorcycle culture and camaraderie.
