A 20-year-old man wanted for a string of serious and violent crimes in Tsolo, eventually arrested last Monday, 19 May 2025 in the Tsolo CBD. The man was a most wanted suspect in crimes committed which included murders, attempted murder, as well as house robberies which occurred in the town and areas like New Homes.
According to the police report, during his arrest the suspect was found in possession of an unlicensed 9mm pistol having an erased serial number without ammunition. The man is accused of his involvement in at least four murders, attempted murder and two house robberies which all took place in Tsolo between April and May 2025.
He will appear in Tsolo Magistrate court soon with an added charge of unlawful possession of an unlicensed firearm and the recovered firearm will be sent for ballistic test to establish its linkage to crimes committed.Meanwhile, OR Tambo District Commissioner Major General Norman Modishana applauded Tsolo police for their sterling job in arresting the perpetrator who was terrorizing the Tsolo residents for some time.
