A young talented Eastern Cape football rising star Lulutho “Messi” Sinxo from Village locality outside King Williams, was recently selected to represent South Africa and showcase his talent in Denmark at the prestigious Dana Cup tournament during the upcoming winter season. Lulutho was selected during under-17 trials held over two days at Sisa Dukashe stadium.
Messi is playing for Kingsburg base outfit, Cosmos and the challenge is that there are no funds to fulfill his dream, so the team management and technical team appeal to any Good Samaritan to support or partner with the team in making this dream a reality. They call on everyone to come forward and be part of shaping a rising star’s future. The total cost for the trip is approximately R61, 000, and tournament participation.
Thabile Balani, one of the technical team members said the selection of the player is very exciting in the entire team of Cosmos. “This opportunity represents more than just a football tournament; it is a gateway to global exposure, growth, and realization of a young athlete’s dream. However, turning this dream into reality requires financial support,” said Balani.
He called on the community, local businesses, and potential sponsors to support Lulutho on this important journey. “Investing in him is investing in the future of South African football-a young player who has already demonstrated discipline, talent, and potential to excel on international stages,” he said.
