Two Lusikisiki duo produced Bafana song

There is a new song for South African senior soccer national squad, Bafana Bafana which was produced in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape by the original molds from Mpondoland. The song for the nation is a massive hit; Syaphambili Bafana Bafana features two Lusikikisi base singers, a young DJ from Bukazi location Sfiso Ernest Nomazombelana who is known on the stage as ROBERTO_86 and Pamella Nyosi aka Queen BeeZ_91 from Joe Slovo, Lusikisiki.

Remember Bafana Bafana recently made history by qualifying to the last 32 in the FIFA World Cup 2026, where they were eliminated by 1 goal to nil in the last minute after a hard fight. So now they are matching to the next FCON with the hope that this song would dominate the stadiums and all the spheres of the South African sporting fraternity.

The music video, shot in Lusikisiki, Soweto, and at Moses Mabhida Stadium featured young footballers from rural KZN and Eastern Cape academies alongside Bafana stars. Produced in Lusikisiki ‘Siyaphambili Bafana Bafana’ blends Queen BeeZ signature, hard Gqom long-drums with stadium chants, vuvuzela textures, and a Bafana squad vocal hook recorded at training camp.

“This is not just a song for the players but it’s for every South African holding on to hope. Bafana fight for us on the field so we need to fight for them on the stands. We have a big hope that SAFA can confirm the collaboration as part of Mzansi youth culture. We wanted a sound that lives in taxis, on TikTok, and in stadiums,” said Queen BeeZ.

Meanwhile, the streaming on all platforms will commence from Saturday 26 September 2026 and the launch will take place in Flagstaff Town Hall on the same date starting from 18:30pm till late. According to ROBERTO they will feature local artists to put the area on the map and make Mzansi dance.
