Winnie Madikizela Mandela Local Municipality (WMMLM) has officially handed over Vitsha Trading, a contractor to build a manufacturing hub in ward 16 at Ndlovumile village.
This project is expected to take 12 months and is set to create job opportunities for residents of Ward 16.
The building of the hub will boost local economic development, improve infrastructure and bring long-term benefits to the community by increasing access to business opportunities and supporting growth in the area.
In her address Winnie Madikizela Mandela Mayor Cllr Daniswa Mafumba expressed words of gratitude on behalf of the community for the creation of this hub, stating that the project will play a cardinal role in improving the lives of the people and promoting development in the municipality. Meanwhile, the members of the community also welcomed the initiative of this hub as it’s gonna bring changes and improve their way of living.
