The Eastern Mpondoland base publisher KWAZITHINA Publishers, continues with its good mission to produce emerging and passionate writers from that side of the world. KWAZITHINA publishers recently announced and released Mercy said, “Not Yet” a powerful memoir and a first book of Dr Khayelihle Nzimande, a dedicated clinician and passionate storyteller.
Through the seasons of living, thriving, surviving, and recovering Dr Nzimande shares a deeply personal journey marked by success, hardship, addiction, loss, and spiritual renewal. His story reveals that true wealth lies not in material achievement, but in gratitude, humanity, faith, and divine grace.
Mercy said, “Not Yet” is a moving testimony of resilience, redemption, and hope. It is a reminder that even in our darkest moments, mercy can still have the final word “Not Yet”. Dr Nzimande is a dedicated medical practitioner whose commitment to healing extends beyond the clinical setting. A passionate poet and storyteller, he uses the written word to explore the human experience offering insight, compassion, and inspiration through his work.
He described the difficulties and challenges encountered in writing, developing, editing and finally publishing this book as learning opportunities. “As a novice, I have no previous experience; this is my first book, so I had no idea how to start or proceed. I had to conduct my own research. There were a few episodes of putting away the manuscript for a few months at a time. This is a memoir: I am writing about personal, painful, even embarrassing moments in my life. It was difficult to be vulnerable at first,” said Dr Nzimande.
He revealed that there were some other financial challenges like developing a book from a manuscript involves a few critical costs/expenses. “I had to delay the publishing process to raise funds first. Working and then coming home to write after a long day was also challenging. I had to push through all that, fortunately, I have a great editor and publisher: she has mentored me throughout this process,” he concluded.
